:: The process of selecting works

After an initial formal refinement in the secretariat, the process of evaluating and judging the received research works is carried out in three phases as    :follows

First phase: Scientific refinement: In the refinement phase, the scientific group selects the works with the essential criteria of research work in terms of subject and structure for judging. Judges determine these criteria. At this phase, the basis of the decision is the "absolute consensus of the group on rejecting the work." Otherwise, the work will enter the following steps despite the possibility and doubts.

Second phase: Sending to two judges: The selected works are sent to two expert judges in that field. Judges appointed by the scientific group evaluate these works independently and anonymously based on the indicators and criteria designed in the related worksheets. If the opinions of these two referees are found to be contradictory, the third referee will be determined by the scientific group. Therefore, the sum of the scores the two referees gave will be the basis of the decision. At this phase, the works that have scored 60% or higher on average based on the judging form enter the next phase of judging.

In the second phase, to speed up the implementation of judging, the group determines four judges for each work in order of priority, and they are introduced to the secretariat by the group's secretary so that if one judge withdraws, others are invited to cooperate. The secretary will make the initial coordination with the referees.

Third phase: Evaluating the results of judging the works: At this phase, the scientific group decides on the rank of the research work. After reviewing the average results of the previous phase evaluations and considering the relevant points, the decision is made. At this phase, the "selected" or "worthy of appreciation" works are determined in two fields of research and thesis. Their list is sent to the festival's secretary in the form of an official letter to be discussed in the scientific council of the festival.

 At this phase, the researcher must send the article extracted from his research to the festival secretariat. This article should not have been published until now. This article will be made available to others either as a poster or as an oral presentation. At this phase, the selected papers are published in Festival Proceedings. Top essays are sent to some scientific journals for peer review and publication. From scientific and research centers, Iranian and foreign researchers and experts are invited if they have done research on one of the topics of the CFP between 2019 and September 2023 (in the domestic division) and 2019 to 2023 (in the international division), their works are invited to the secretariat, send their studies to the festival secretariat.

Fourth phase: Final selection: The final selection phase of the works and their ranking is made by the scientific council of the festival. At this phase, the head or secretary of each group presents and defends the selected works of his group along with the judges' documents in the scientific council meeting. Also, in this phase, the selected works' quality levels in different groups are compared. After reviewing the files of all works and discussing .the referees, the works are chosen by the majority of the members of the council, and their rank is determined
