:: The structure of the festival

The structure of the IACR to achieve the stated goals consists of four main pillars: the chairman, the policy council, the secretary and the secretariat, and the scientific council. Their specifications are:

First. The head of the festival: The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran heads the cultural research festival.

 

Note: The steering committee consists of the vice president of the festival, the scientific secretary of the festival, the research assistant, and the executive assistant of the Research Institute of Culture, Art, and Communication. This committee has to speed up and coordinate the affairs of the festival and facilitate the implementation of policies of the Policy Council.

 

Second. Policy Council: The Policy Council is the highest pillar of policy and decision-making in the festival's grand planning. The members of this council consist of:

 

1. Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance (Chairman of the Council)

2. Head of Culture, Art and Communication Research Institute (Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the Festival)

3. Secretary of the scientific council of the festival

4. Chairman of the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Parliament of Iran

5. Scientific and cultural deputy of the Iran's Plan and Budget Organization

6. President of Tehran University

7. President of Imam Sadiq University (AS)

8. Head of the Iranian Academy of Arts

9. Head of the Iran's National Elites Foundation

10. Secretary of the Public Culture Council of Iran

11. Head of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization

12. Deputy of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance

13. Legal, Parliament and Provincial Affairs Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance

14. Deputy of press and information affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance

15. Director General of the Office of Studies and Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance

16. Deputy of the Quran and Itrat of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance

 

Third. Scientific secretary of the festival (appointed by the head)

Fourth. Secretary and secretariat of the festival: The secretary of the international festival is the head of the Research Institute of Culture, Art and Communication of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, who oversees all matters related to the scientific and executive field of the festival and is responsible for its overall management.

 

The festival's secretary is the policy-making council's vice-chairman and the scientific council's head.

The main task of the Secretariat of the IACR is the executive management of all the affairs and phases of the festival. The secretariat is in the Research Institute of Culture, Art and Communication.

The festival secretariat has three committees as follows:

 

1. Works receiving committee, which is responsible for receiving, classifying, and sending works to scientific groups under the supervision of the scientific secretary.

2. Information and Advertising Committee, responsible for all advertising, information, and festival documentation matters.

3. The Executive and Ceremonial Committee supports and coordinates the festival's executive affairs.

 

Fifth. Scientific Council of the Festival: This council is the primary decision-making authority; it supervises the programs and actions of the scientific groups of the festival to follow the rules of judging and selecting the winners. The Scientific Council does the final approval of the provisions of the regulations. The council members include:

 

-The festival secretary

-The heads of the five scientific groups

-The head of the secretariat

-The secretary of the scientific council

 

Sixth. Scientific groups: Scientific groups have a central position in judging and selecting the best works of the festival. These groups do all phases of refining, evaluating, and selecting works and winners. These groups include 5 or 7 prominent professors and researchers of scientific and specialized fields related to each group.
