The poster unveiling ceremony of the "16th International Award on Cultural Research" was held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in the presence of Mohammad Mahdi Esmaeili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

The Minister of Culture said at the poster unveiling ceremony of the "16th International Festival of Cultural Research, "The cultural research festival should be a turning point in the country's cultural research."

In this ceremony, Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeli congratulated the reporter's day. He added that holding the poster unveiling ceremony of this great cultural event at the same time as honoring journalists is interesting. The Minister of Culture said I thank my Ministry and Research Institute of Culture, Art and Communication colleagues for holding this great cultural event. He added that the 16th IACR will be held this year after a break. In preparation for this event, an excellent policy-making council has been formed with prominent professors in the field of social sciences of the country's universities and elites. The government of Iran intends to use all elite capacities for optimal governance in the field of culture, art, and media. We don't organize cultural events like festivals or conferences just for the sake of it; We do these programs with precise targeting, which is why we created the Institute of Culture, Arts and Communication. The purpose of establishing a research institute in the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance or study offices in other ministry departments is to use articles, books, and research for cultural, artistic, and media governance.

Referring to the importance of the Culture, Art and Communication Research Institute as a research institute of the Ministry of Guidance, he reminded: Today, the Research Institute of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance plays a central role in conducting surveys and polls in the country. Today, we perform the most reliable surveys at the Research Institute of Culture, Art and Communication as the official center and reference for observing our society. We hope this critical cultural event will be held successfully with the cooperation of Qasim Zaeri, the head of the RICAC.
 

 

Qasim Zaeri, the head of the RICAC and the secretary of the 16th IACR, also acknowledged the holding of this cultural event and said, "Today, the poster unveiling ceremony of the  Festival will be held; This event is the primary research identifier of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. It shows the effort of the Ministry of Culture to take advantage of research findings in policy making and planning in the field of culture and art. Before this, the meeting of the policy-making council of this program was held with the presence of the Honorable Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, and the unveiling ceremony of its poster will be held today. The cultural research festival will be held in September 2023.
