The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced the new guidelines for the "International Award on Cultural Research."

The new guidelines for holding the "IACR" proposed by the Research Institute of Culture, Art and Communication were notified to the Research Institute after the approval of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

According to the public relations report of Culture Research Institute, Arts and Communications, the new regulations for holding the IACR with an emphasis on research in the field of culture and cultural issues of Iran and paying attention to "veteran researchers" and "top provincial researchers" were approved by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance. According to this regulation, the International Award on Cultural Research every year under the supervision of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and with the cooperation of universities, research institutes, seminaries, and other scientific centers and the support of governmental and non-governmental institutions and organizations, with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance during the research week will be held. Identifying and introducing the best talents in the field of cultural research to strengthen the "culture of research," creating the groundwork for conducting applied cultural research related to the areas of activity of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the cultural needs of the society, identifying and focusing on the main cultural issues and harms of the country to reach the solutions to get out of them and help to explain the importance, function and the dangerous and influential role of cultural researches in the process of planning and local and national policies in various fields are among the goals of holding the international cultural research festival.

According to the new guidelines, the IACR will be held in three sections: "Main," "Young," and "Women." The young part of the festival includes researchers under 35 years old. The selection of "Veteran Researcher" and "Provincial Top Researcher" are also other parts of this festival, which, according to the conditions, it is possible to activate them and present awards to the chosen ones.

The festival winners will be introduced to the National Foundation of Elites to benefit from its material and spiritual support by reviewing their research records and determining eligibility as a foundation member.

Theoretical research of culture; cultural policymaking; management and cultural organizations; cultural history; cultural issues and damages; Cultural research of the Islamic world; domains of culture (religion, family, art, media, etc.); creative and artistic industries; Literary and Persian language research and childhood and adolescent research are the titles of the scientific groups of this festival, which will be activated according to the submitted works in the secretariat. So far, fifteen rounds of the IACR have been held under the title of Cultural Research of the Year by the Research Institute of Culture, Art, and Communication. The 16th round of the International Cultural Research Festival will be held in December 2023.
