The 17th International Cultural Research Festival will be held

 Simultaneously with the research week, the 17th international cultural research festival will be held in 2024.

Qasem Zaeri, the president of Research Center of Culture, Art and Communications and the secretary of the 16th International Festival of Cultural Research, announced that the main direction of this festival is scientific research based on policy-making and problem-solving, and it focuses on the foundations of the cultural and social order of Iranian society. According to Zaeri, the path of reasonable policy-making goes through scientific and problematic researches. The new cultural governance in the Islamic Republic of Iran must rely on cultural research. Also, according to the emphasis of Mohammad Mahdi Esmaeli, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, in the closing ceremony of the 16th International Festival of Cultural Research, scientists and people of culture and art should play a role in policy-making issues. He also added that research should fill the gaps in policies. For this purpose, Research Center of Culture, Art and Communications will hold the 17th Cultural Research Festival .The closing ceremony of the 16th International Festival of Cultural Research, in 2023, was held with the introduction of domestic and international winners in five areas: culture and art, media and communication, religious and Islamic research, new technologies, and cultural future research. In this festival, for the first time, a special award for the life of Dr. Emad Afrough was given to selected people with the topic of cultural policy criticism. Selected researchers were introduced to the National Elite Foundation to benefit from the material and spiritual support of this foundation.
